Elder Renee Denise Laws is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and the Founder of Helping Others Win (H.O.W.) Ministry, Inc. The purpose for the inception of H.O.W. is to equip God’s people to win physically and spiritually in love through life applications, biblical teachings, and the Spoken Word. The H.O.W. Ministry offers a holistic approach to help heal the mind, body, soul, and spirit of God’s people.
In 2007, Elder Renee Laws was ordained under the Leadership of Kingdom Center Ministries, Inc. where her gifts of Intercession and of Helps flourished. In 2008, Elder Renee with the guidance of the Holy Spirit established Pursue and Conquer Mentorship Program (PACMP) to mentor women around the world; helping them to excel to a greater level in God. In addition, she helps them to maximize their potential, know their self-worth, use their gifts and abilities to fulfill purpose, and teach them how to be strategic in every area of their life. She is extremely passionate about promoting positive thinking and excellence into the lives of women. She firmly believes that spiritual and natural growth are vital ingredients needed to aspire women to pursue and conquer their dreams to make a difference in their Kingdom walk.
In 2015, Elder Renee opened her first transitional house in West Baltimore for women and children and in 2016, she opened her second transitional house in Northeast Baltimore to provide a holistic approach for temporary housing to homeless women making insufficient wages and/or attempting to flee domestic violence. This is a faith-based referral program only. The length of stay ranges from a couple of weeks to a few years.
In 2018, Elder Renee under the leading of the Lord set into motion Lending a Helping Hand Up. In 2019, she began partnering with other non-profit organizations and multiple resource givers who donated their time, talent, and treasure to help men, women, and children to satisfy their basic human needs. Creating projects and activities to meet the back-to-school necessities for our children. We also offer transportation service for our seniors as well as supply them with personal care items. Lending a Helping Hand Up also aids with utilities, clothing, food, and toiletries. Also, in 2019, she received her certification in Bereavement Support from Roberta’s House located in Baltimore Maryland, which provides a safe place where children, teens and adults discover that they are not alone in their grief. In 2022, she received a Certificate of Recognition from Brandon Scott, Mayor for the City of Baltimore Maryland for her dedication and outstanding commitment to help provide a safe and healthy environment for our seniors at the Arlington Estates Co-op. In April 2023, Ministry affiliates, Love Ministries, JALU Ministry and With a Heart of Love by Lydia came under the leadership Elder Renee Laws of Helping Others Win Ministries, Inc.
Elder Renee’s commitment to do excellence has been recognized by many women around the world. Since she takes pleasure in the family structure and spending time with her daughters, granddaughters, and Son in love. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, which states, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She is currently under the leadership covering of Apostle Dr. Trena Stephenson, Founder of Woman of God Ministries.
